HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus: Adding 16GB RAM Module and VMware Configuration

preview_player
Показать описание
We finally got the precious 16GB RAM DIMM in from HPE for the MicroServer and install that so we can begin virtualized performance testing. From there we take you on a deep, and a little messy, dive into our VMware setup, provisioning and deploying the VMs we need for SQL and MySQL testing. It's not always pretty in the lab, but in the end we have the MicroServer Gen10 Plus ready for database testing that will be running overnight.

Wow, yes. Installing memory is such a hard and technical thing to do!

Little slow but good info.

Hi! Did you add the memory next to the old one? Please specify what memory you added. Is single-channel? Thank you!

What is the HP part number for the single 16 GB module? I am currently running non-ECC Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) DR X8 DIMM 288-Pin Memory - CT2K16G4DFD8266 matched pair. Or is that good enough?
