I definitely believe there are people out there who just want chaos. The internet displays that very well. There are people who will always take the contrary point of view to something not because they disagree but because they just constantly want drama. I also think they feel wronged by society for whatever reason so constantly taking the opposite point of view makes them feel like they're getting some sort of "revenge". That makes them feel like they have some sense of control.

I absolutely have given up on the system. It is more corrupt than we know. However, I'm also not into starting fires and adding to it.

I like what Jordan Peterson says about hating human systems. They’re never perfect because we are not perfect.. but they do help keep us from what could be an even more chaotic world. I think the chapter was on making sure your room is in order before you judge the world or something correct me if I’m wrong

People do this will all kinds of information, not just political. I think it’s more likely people are just reacting to what they read and sharing. You could see it as a need for chaos or just reactive dissatisfaction. I honestly doubt they are thinking about the impact they will have in sharing being chaotic if they think it’s true. I wouldn’t give it too much power.

What is Mark on about, both groups are very much in favor of neoliberalism. That's the opposite of wanting systemic change.
