CNCF announced the Cilium Certified Associate (CCA) certification that will be released in 2024.

CCA is an entry-level certification for platform and cloud engineers interested in networking, security, and observability. The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions and will be 90 minutes long.

if Cilium offers a Service Mesh, why would you need to use Istio? 🤔i'm thinking here that Istio does a lot of this but it also needs side cars, it seems like Cilium and do what Istio can and more. Am I correct to assume that or have I missed something?
