On May 2, a fiery crash on I-95 South caused severe structural damage to an overpass in Norwalk, CT. EarthCam worked alongside the Connecticut Department of Transportation to document the emergency repair. EarthCam's 4K time-lapse showcases the tireless efforts of CT DOT crews and contractors as well as the remarkable speed of the 33-hour cleanup and repair prior to the highway's re-opening on May 5.

“We knew there was going to be significant interest in this emergency project and the live video feed provided on short notice by EarthCam was critically important. We appreciate the partnership with EarthCam for helping us keep the public informed throughout the weekend.” – Connecticut Department of Transportation

Please show us the construction of the bridge too. That would be so cool.

Driving through CT has never been a great experience but damn if they didn't knock this out of park! I was in NY coming back Sunday and it was smooth sailing. I was shocked they had that completed. Kudos to the staff and workers!

This proves that all this road work shouldn't take years to finish.
