Even today in our country, women aren't allowed to perform several rituals for no particular reason, if you don't have a brother, then the next eligible person would be a cousin but it's time we change the narrative.

In our society, desi weddings are full of rituals and practices that have been carried on for generations. However, slowly but steadily many are breaking stereotypes and creating practices that are more equal to the traditional ones.

This beautiful gesture speaks volumes. It proves that both men and women are on the same pedestal and deserve to be treated equally. It's time for change & sisterhood! Let's evolve for good, let's stand up for & with equality!
