We know there is a plastic problem. It's impossible to deny it. But who is truly at fault? Is there one culprit? How would it make you feel if you realized just how many pieces to the puzzle there are and that there truly is no simple solution? The closest thing we have to a solution is if businesses practice (EPR) extended producer responsibility and take back what they produce/ship or they create/ship products that cause no environmental harm. But changing these practices takes time, legislation, and the community’s support. The reality is, each of us plays a role in the problem, but each of us plays a role in the solution. We actually CAN and ARE making changes- locally, nationally, and internationally.

Anyone is capable of creating change- whether in their daily life or even their community- it is simply a matter of having the passion and drive to do so. You don't have to be a politician, a nonprofit director, a teacher, or a scientist, you can be a regular person who simply wants to make the world a better place and aligns themself with the right people in order to be a part of the change.

When people come together from different backgrounds and different skills and unite over a passion for change, anything is possible.
