Scenic Drive From Kathikas To Ineia

This week we are exploring the Paphos Countryside between Kathikas and Polis. We start by a secluded churchyard by driving through the newly renovated part of Kathikas to the centre. From there we join the Peyia to Polis road, until we get to Pano Arodes. We then take a trip through three villages, highlighting the museums along the way. We finish at one of the Gateways to the Akamas, with a beautiful panoramic view of the whole of Paphos.

▬ The Kathikas - Panagia Loop ▬
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.

▬ Paphos Coast To Coast ▬
Explore traditional villages, visit a shipwreck and some ancient sea caves, and have a swim or a paddle in some of the lovely beaches. And once you have done it, do it again in reverse, to finish it off with some spectacular sunsets.

I know the area well as my sister lived in Cyprus for decades and in fact her ex (who passed away some time ago) is buried in that cemetery you showed at the beginning of the video. Returning to Paphos next week and always make a habit of checking out your videos for more intel on routes, areas I have yet to explore. Thanks for some wonderful drives. 🧡
