Great story and great message man! You've been a big inspiration when I first moved to the US in 2013-2014 and this is what pushed me to create more timelapse videos at the time! Today, my passion for the craft really saved me here and couldn't be happier with who I have become, so thank you. I remember watching your travel vlogs at the time. Really fun to hear how you got started and I can tell you are passionate about what you do. Think a lot of us that get into time lapse start by tinkering around time lapsing anything and everything. When I got started, I time lapsed my family playing games, folding laundry, eating dinner, etc. Congrats on all your achievements!

So cool to hear your story Matt! I remember seeing those hyperlapses in the Tomorrowland after movie and loved the concept. A few years later I got my first camera and timelapses were the first thing I experimented with, it's what brought me to photography/videography and I'm happy to say it's a part of my work right now. I definitely need to get better at networking though... Everything you said makes so much sense, every time I got out of my comfort zone (moving to the US or quitting the 9-5 to start freelancing) were the best decisions of my life, now I need that again to move forward because I feel like I'm stuck. You're always so inspiring, cheers mate!
