Bro deleting the save file on my used copy of tomodachi life when I was 12 was an absolutely traumatic experience.

The guy before me had like 50 people on the island and I basically killed all of them bc I wanted to start fresh.

as for animal crossing, the villagers in the first game will be randomly picked. if they were in your town, they could be selected. interestingly enough, each personality type had their own dialog for it.
