I loved this. Its funny to me that so many were so certain how crazy he was when you can't gauge that when he's stoned out of his mind.

When the H-1 made airspeed record run and ran out of fuel Howard made the split second decision to pull back on stick to get altitude then forward to get air under wings to glide to beet field. Probably made decision while engine was spuddering with just enough residual fuel?

He bought the television station to essentially use the entire station as a remote control for the movies he watched in his room. Thats hilariously epic.

look into what the establishment bankers did to him. after the TWA fiasco. they sued him for mismanagement 80% owned company.
There were so many lawsuits against him that he would have been in court every day forever. That is why he became a recluse; he had no choice.
He was not nuts but because the crash in Beverly hill his health sucked.

Love how Hughes was getting laid and everyone else was pointing it out.

"He's farking to much. I'm jealous. I can't be so jealous". That's how I see that.

Like yeah hes doing his most primitive basic need of survival. What a horrible man.

Look, Your either getting it or wanting it there's no other options really.

Howard got absolutely smashed for his lifestyle.

Tragic ending for Howard. But then he played a main role in his own demise, no one could tell him no.

As I understand it Howard suffered head injuries from the 2 crashes that lead to his erratic behavior and deteriorating mental health later in life.
