Just a couple of nights ago my METV channel "33.1" went off the air as well as all my "33" channels. I'm still getting METVPlus on a different channel now but not METV!

Yes a little while back we saw the METV+ channel moved to a different frequency or subchannel. I live in the Chicago area. Periodically existing channels get moved around or New channels begin.

This is an un-related question and wondering if anyone else is seeing this - has to do with my OTA Antenna channels. Allot of times I leave my TV on throughout the night and lately noticed that several of the channels drop out and show up as "No Signal" during the night on my TV. Then around 5-6 AM in the morning, the channels come back and can be watched throughout the day. These channels doing this should be broadcasting regular TV programs 24 hours a day and not purposely go off the air at night. At first I thought it was a weather thing, but lately it is doing that even on good nights, no bad weather in the area.

Only reason I notice this is when I wake up around 2-3 AM in the morning and there are some SCI-FI TV series shows on METV+ at that time for a few hours and lately the channel seems to shut down or signal gets weaker so I get no display of the channel. But then during the day the channel is fine. This is not the only channel that is doing the drop out during the night.

So it has me puzzled why certain TV channels/subchannels drop out during the night and come back to normal view during the daytime hours - and I didn't change anything.
Anyway thank you for the TV channel information.

Added: i did a google search on this and they say it could be temperature changes causing certain channels to drop out - which is kind of weird. Why do i see the same channels during the day on cold or warm temps? Very strange.

I live on a very limited income so i stream METV on the very affordable Frndly streaming service.I have it offered OTA but rarely can watch it due to weather and other circumstances.

Comcast in south Florida just lost MeTV this week. Very frustrating, but now I have discovered FrndlyTV. Definitely worth the 6.99 for MeTV alone, but there are also 39 other channels. I will probably watch a handful of them as well, especially Catchy Comedy. So a bad thing turned out pretty good.

Dish has dropped ME TV last month. I wished I knew that before I signed a contract.

KGTV in San Diego has just dumped MeTV effective today in favor of Bounce TV! I hate that!!!

Well, it was inevitable, but MeTV has moved to WPBF’s spectrum, and honestly, I’ve been really unhappy with it being there. WPBF has been preempting a lot of it lately. This is Why I Liked it better when MeTV was on WPTV’s spectrum.

NOW EVERY SO OFTEN IT COMES ON. I STILL GET MY REGULAR ME

Thanks for the info. I can see MeTV just fine; but, I can not hear MeTV.

I think it has to do with the owners of these stations. Some decide that it's not getting enough viewers as some of their other stations. I live in the bay area in California. Metv is very popular here so it's carried over the air and on satelite t.v. We used to have a station that I think was called classic t.v., but they removed it. it's still available over the air in the Sacremento area.

I have Dish Network they had MeTv but not anymore I asked Dish about why it was gone they said they raised the price. Well now I know why.

I have a smart tv but don’t use the smart hub. I use a roku device. Is that normal? Am I the only one that does that?

I wish METV would change it's prime time schedule. For crying out loud Andy Griffith has been in same time slot 9 consecutive years also 2 continuous hour of MASH is too much. Please please change up the schedule with different shows, right now I'm watching less METV and if it went off the air tomorrow I wouldn't miss it.

tv stations aren't dropping meTV they're owned by NBC. that should've been obvious when they interrupted the channel to play some crap trial you could go one channel down to watch
