Way to fix her is to let her channel her skill after you swap in another character, exactly like encore does.
That would be such a cool change.

Jianxin is absolutely wonderful when paired with danjin, she’s probably the next best option for danjins teams if you don’t have or don’t want to use verina, plus the shield she generates is great for keeping your danjin alive. Although jianxin is more of a niche character, she’s pretty damn useful for her roll

jianxin-verina-calcharo is the meta team for calcharo not considering yinlin, though. 36% lib deepen is serious. You just gotta not fall into the pitfall of spending long field time with her building up qi and full out heavy attacking.

Nah fam L take, the character imo is the most fun and interesting to get amongst the starter 5 stars. You just need to get used to not full channelling the shield and understanding she is a hybrid between dps and support so not fully diving into one or the other is important.

I agree, she isn't good in hologram, but that's in hologram where you will be one-shot while she is charging her shield. Hologram is the only place where defensive utility is a lie.
In other content where you won't be one-shot she does respectable damage in a very large AoE while charging; it's not like it's three seconds of doing literally nothing.
And with her parry skill, I mean you just hold it when you see an attack coming you want to negate. It's got a 12 second cooldown so when you do it specifically doesn't really matter since she's only going to do it once per rotation.

I don't really disagree with your points but I think if you're going to main the 4* red head girl who hurts herself the shield and healing would be good. Mines not really built but she seems to work decent with the limited guy but that's probably because they're the same element so energy might be better.
