I think "outline" means like the "Simplified" version of the description and turning it off will show the more detailed/value of the stats it provides etc.

Great video, have been looking for basically exactly this since getting her. Plenty of guides giving a basic rundown of her kit but couldn't find many that knew what they were talking about for using her as a support/utility/sub DPS

As someone who runs this build it is worth noting that while you do get 100%DR, some bosses do have one-shot mechanics that this won't prevent. An obvious one is Tempest Mephis finger snap.

The shield doesn't have to be on jianxin for the 0 damage reduction.
So main dps jianxin with mortefi using heron and Verina/baizhi using the turtle also works.

if you press the outline button above the echo. at the echo screen. u will see the description. its off on default. glad to help

A tip: on top right you can turn off the "Outline" to show details of echo
