Why Cycles S7 Mountain Bike Build

In this video we build up our new bikepacking / do everything bikes. We are going with Why Cycles S7 (Supple Seven) frame, RockShox 130mm Pike Ultimate fork, Stans Flow 27.5+ wheels and a mix of Shimano XT and XTR (1X12) drivetrain.

We are still missing a few items like stems, suspension seat post (wife's bike) and rear brake caliper 180mm adapters, so we just used some old components to get the bikes going until the new items arrive in the mail.

Both bikes are setup the same with the exception of tires and seat post, I am going with 2.8" wide tires (only because I had them) and wife is going with 2.6" wide tires.
Total bike weights including pedals are:
Medium frame with 2.8" wide tires = 27.0 lbs.
Small frame with 2.6" wide tires = 26.4 lbs. (will be a little heavier once suspension seat post is installed.

Our Surly ECR's for comparison including pedals and 3.0" wide tires weigh = 28.4 lbs.

Nice video, and helpful! I picked one of these frames up a week ago and building it is my winter project. Can't wait for the build, and to get out and ride it on Colorado's front range.
