India is currently Ranked 101 among 133 nations in Global Talent Competitiveness Index. What the hell of NIT, IIT, IIIT doing ? R they simply producing Graduates for Reserved Jobs ?

We cannot afford to lose4.5 lakhs students (THE Youth) every year, which will drag the country backward. This is a good initiative, and our kids shuld get enough opportunities to apply their skills and make a good living out of it. Most of the so called students from India are using education as a way to migrate to developed countries where they end up doing some low level non skilled jobs. For some reason, we always feel the other side is always green. India has to improve on the human living indices and infrastructure. It will keep our youth within the country and human resource capital is the biggest asset in the world now..

India rank 101 out of 133, these show the face of indian education system which only focus on theory, not focus on practical.

What happened to our Indian universities? Why can't you improve our Indian universities? Foreign universities will get it in business motive. Pls don't do this support our Indian universities and make them better.

Why can't we make our existing colleges match their standards? Why allowing those foreign institutes to capitalize on Indian students?

We should accept them only for STEM subjects as they have great expertise in this field. Business studies is also to be collaborated with local universities if possible. However they should be kept out of liberal arts entirely as this is where they will start spreading their cancerous woke idéologies which India doesn't need at all.

This is a good initiative. But our commissions, committees and campuses can end up making it another Indian University....and then the QUOTAS! 😱
Students are going abroad to get away from all this, have a better experiential learning and to see the world, their careers with a global perspective. Thats not going to happen at an Indian campus.
Conversely why can't Indian Universities set up campus abroad? That gives a better chance for our students to do part of their course here and hop on to their overseas campus for a global experience? This will help lot more Indian students explore global opportunities with their Indian University watching their back. And you can make it affordable, offer student loans and build an ecosystem that enables their work visas all from within those campuses.

Excellent. More engineering and stem subjects needed.

Well satellite campuses of ivy league schools won't solve the deep rooted issues in our system, it will just create more complexity in the existing toxic competitive ecosystem.
