Hi, does the battery need to be removed when the unit is not in use?

I have purchased the BC107 and the BK805 for a Giant Escape 2 Disc bike, and the cadence sensor is 19mm away from the magnet because of the crank set up . 1.) the Crank arm is hollow on the inside so the magnet has to be fitted higher up where it is solid18mm from the bolt. However, the bigger issue is the distance from the crank to the frame is approximately 17mm so the distance to the BK805 sensor unit its 20mm NOT less than 12mm as recommended. Please can you advise how I can get this to work. I purchased both items from Amazon.

Good video to help set it up. I managed to connected the first time, but when I finally had the time to ride it wouldn’t connect or turn on. 😭😭 it won’t even find it on my tablet or phone. I thought it was the battery that came with it but it turns in when I push the battery down. Not sure what else to do to get it to turn on. Any ideas?

does the distance from the wheel center that you place the sensor matters? if I put it closer to the wheel center the speed is faster than if I put the sensor far from the center?

COOSPO bk467 has delay in measuring cadance or speed about 3 seconds. Do COOSPO BK805 have the same delay or shows speed (candance) in real time without delays?

How do you wake the sensor up? I installed mine but when I went to use it, it didn't connect. Surely you don't have to take battery out every time?

Possuo um IGS520 (IGPSPORT) e costumo ter problemas com sensores instalados na roda traseira quando estou em velocidade alta pois o gps fica na mesa e em alta velocidade o sinal vindo do sensor instalado na roda não alcança o gps. Este sensor possui este problema? Meu GPS conseguirá receber o sinal mesmo quando eu estiver em velocidades mais altas?
