Tropical Storm Ivo - Update 1 (August 24, 2013)

Tropical Storm Ivo formed today in the Eastern Pacific, and after a relocation in its center of circulation, the storm has been brought closer to the coast of Mexico. In response, tropical storm warnings and watches have been issued for the coast of Baja California Sur. It is possible that the storm will make landfall, and somewhat likely that tropical storm conditions will occur, especially along the western coast.

After passing through the Baja California Peninsula, the storm will either stall to the west of the Peninsula, or continue northwestwards into the northern part of Baja California, and possibly into extreme southwestern United States (California and Arizona) before becoming untraceable.
