Why is this not viral yet? We literally learn this in "semester" and he compile it with in 1 min video.

Nice!
How does the filtration system "know" when and how to pass the nitrate-only water to the plants?
Where do I get Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria? How long do they last? Or, do they over-populate, and then, how do I get rid of the excess?

3 different tanks ??? misleading, i think. 1 tank with fish 'n plants is the standard home salt/fresh water aquarium setup. nitrosomonos *& nitrobaacter biological processes poducing nitrites 'n ultimately nitrates all occurs in one tank. the video commentary kind-a-ssuggests that the bacteria live 'n breath oonly in the middle tank . i could understand 2 tanks (fish in 1, plants in anohther) just to separate your fish pond from your vegetable garden. an analysis of water samples from all three tanks would result in 3 identical reports as u might expect in a continuously circulating water. with a mature system that'd reached equilibrium where nitrates were being consumed by plants at same rate as they were being prouduced is the goal of the ecosystm. U want levels of nitrogen compounds 2B low enuff so as not to have a deleterious effect on tthe fish.
