I sideloaded Google Play services, gmail and ES File Exlorer Explorer prior to following these directions and Chrome opened will all my browsing history intact. Impressive so far.

only one issue here ...i stopped at 2:25 "the only downside is that you will not have access to your google chrome acct or sync any bookmarks" and so.... its pointless to download chrome or any other 3rd party apps to my kindle. informative and helpful non the less. thnx

Any more comments on the advantages and other disadvantages of using the Chrome browser? Also, I'm afraid to try the side loading of Google Play, any serious disadvantages to that other than the trouble to do it?
