CTNKids: How Does Speech Impact Reading?

This video provides caregivers with fun and helpful strategies to develop speech and literacy skills. This learning module is appropriate for caregivers of school aged children. Learning to listen, playing with sounds, and working on a child’s sounds will not only help them with speech, but will also help them with reading and writing, by improving their phonological awareness skills (e.g., ‘rhyming’).
