Props to the writers and translators. It's amazing how much of Phoenix's personality was shown through his lines alone in that short period of time we play as him.
All these puns, jokes and sarcasm people tend to resort to when they are nervous or stressed. Those cute little details like him punching air in excitement or thinking it would be cool if he flew into the courtroom like a magician (JFA, 3rd case).
It's so thoughtful. He just.. *feels* alive. Like a real person.

the only problem i see with this game is the fact no one has much emotional feelings about those who died, like Mia's sister Maya was practically fine the next morning and Phoenix barely shows emotion to Mia's death aswell
