I think they added max luck cap to make getting commons easier so u dont have to take off gauntlets to get commons

i have a scenario that has happened to me before to show the use of the luck cap, lets say you used a large fortune potion on accident, and you need a common for a potion or gear, but you dont wanna wait an hour, so you put your luck cap to 1 to get commons easily

did not live up to expectations, most of the really useful community auras (like ruins, or the same quasar and archangel rework) were completely ignored, but they added a boat that doesn’t even fly and gave his chance of getting one is 1 in 80m, very "well"
upd: i find information about new oblivion aura, and this "secret" is really cool and realization so this somehow keeps this era afloat

I just realized if u think closely about the max luck it's for farming potions such as fortune 1 and more when ur trying to get the glided and uncommons at the same time

When people have a lot of luck its impossible to get the very common auras like uncommon and rare. Thats what max luck is probably used for

U use max luck thing when for example u got alot of potions on and u cant get uncommons, so u put it lower :)

Only reason I see for the luck thing in the setting would be for uncommons for fortune 3s it would make it so that you don't have to change gauntlet each time
