First off, big applause to the artist, KMODO, who composed the original song! I got into a pretty deep part of "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" YouTube, and I got the original song in my recommended. It was very inspiring, and I was craving to do something with the piece. If you find this remix catchy in any way, thank the og artist for this rad song!

As any project of mine goes, I definitely expected for this to come out sooner, but I can't complain about the quality of the product! Salty did a great job like always with the animation, and I did a decent enough job at the visuals lol. But seriously, this was super fun, and it fills my craving to make DHMIS content! Though, potentially in the future, I might return to this series depending on how well this does!

Great remix! I love how the video puts some of the lyrics into a different context, too, especially the "below is where you belong" and "destined to descend, the wood creaks in your wake" over Duck in the coffin. That part was inspired.

Personally, this is the best piece of music you have created so far and one of the best songs I have ever listened to.
I just cant explain how or why in a cohesive sentence, but I would be damned if I wouldnt give atleast one review.

For me, this song relates somehow to a religious person's experience
As in, a belief which you can never truly leave atleast easily due to either personal comfort or societal pressure, and something that is to always come and haunt you. It is a presence, and the 'if youve got the wanting to explore, steer your sights away from the closed doors' also seems like a good indicator of the effect of religion it has on people, as to steer their sights away from the problems within it and the other options/alternatives that might give, if not a satisfying answer, atleast one that could contend with the narratives provided.
Well, that is just a small portion of what I could say about this song, and certainly more knowledgeable experts could dabble on this, I am nevertheless intrigued by the various ways this song could be interpreted as.
Such a good song, though it somehow doesnt have the traction it deserves.
Perhaps you could say, it is so above, yet so below
