Fits 2005-2018 #JeepWrangler with NSG370 6-Speed Manual Transmission.

B&M Racing introduces the new Precision SportShifter for 2005-2018 Jeep Wrangler #TJ and #JK models equipped with the NSG370 6-speed manual transmission. The unit features a CNC billet aluminum case with an electric blue anodized finish which houses internal components made from super tough 4140 chromoly. The shift throw has been reduced by 35% over the factory shifter along with the detent pressure which has been significantly increased creating a noticeably stiffer shift feel. This was done to address problems with the softness of the factory shifter detent springs which easily pop out of gear while off-roading. The shifter uses the factory shift stick and knob. However, it is also compatible with B&M’s new shift stick 46200 (compatible only with 2007-2018 JKs), which accepts all 3/8-16 threaded knobs. B&M Racing is the first and only company to address the JK's need for an upgraded manual shifter option. Lifetime Limited Warranty.

to change the box shifter you do not need to touch anything underneath the car, everything is done from above.

I had the jump out of gear issue on my 08 Jeep Wrangler. 1rst gear was the problem. When taking off from a stop it would jump into neutral. When off roading in 1rst the same problem except sometimes it would jump into neutral as the motor revved to get over obstacles. Installed the B&M shifter and it resolved the JOG problem. I'm not saying it will fix the JOG issue for everyone but it did for me. When I pulled out the stock shifter I noticed there was no locking in 1rst to neutral. Almost as if neutral and 1rst were the same gear. With the B&M I can feel a positive lock into place for every gear. It's also a tight shifter with less play between gears instead of the sloppy long shifts of the factory wrangler shifter. Great product!

For anyone watching this, you absolutely do not need to drop the gas tank like that. The two bolts for the gas tank skid will be removed from the cross member, then after removing the crossmember bolts, it easily slides out to the driver side.

Okay if you have a 2017 Jeep and up idk what year it starts but they have changed the gas tank.. it does not go down as far as you need it to in order to fit the doughnut foam piece around the shifter also the shifter stuck up a little higher then the stock one and it was banging on the metal fire wall making a knocking noise when I started the car and started moving. I fixed this by looking where it was touching and used a Dremel to cut a little bit of the metal off on both sides. Overall a lot more work behind the scenes then the video shows and everything is not that easy to take off like the plastic shift knob… broke mine but the b&m shifter is a lot nicer

Is there no way possible to squish that rubber isolator up through the interior, and then back, the same way, without dropping the skid plate, gas tank, trans, and cross-member?! That seems like a ton of extra work, requiring a lift or a lot of hard work, on your back with the Jeep on jack stands?

I would prefer a torque spec on the bolts as opposed to "really tight"

Dude I just tripped out about him saying 3/4 ratchet and impact those are 1/2

My wife has a 2015 jeep jk with the 6 speed. Great video. Her jeep jumps out of 4th gear. I'm going to order one today to fix this. The jeep grinds sometimes going into 5th gear. Will this B&m help resolve thst issue to?

If you just plan on replacing the foam isolator with a new one, can you skip dropping the fuel tank and transmission? The average person doesn’t have access to a lift like you have.

Is the 6 speed configuration of a 2005 TJ LJ with the six speed and R to the bottom R the same as the JK configuration?

Mine wont sit properly on the transmission when I put the shifter on top of the transmission. No matter how I try to put it in it seems like one side is higher than the other side.

Was there an update on what parts were included with this shifter? The one I ordered recently came with a rubber gasket for the shifter mounting surface on the transmission, and neither the instructions or any install reviews online mention the gasket. Is it a change that replaces the step to use and apply silicone sealer?

So, if your not a very handy or a mechanically incline person and can't install yourself, this is a $700-$1, 000.00 upgrade. Yeah, that really seems worth it.
