I remember G04 and G05 from the PS2 game "Encounters in Space". G05 used to be my favorite suit in that game and I remember the pilot of G04 was voiced by Wolverine. Also, I think there were two endings for the Thoroughbred, the G04 and G05 were both assigned to, depending on how you did in the final mission.

Just by looking at it, this shares the same problem as Pale Rider Space Type when it comes to it's giant gatling gun. Both are not fun to pose it and wish the ammo belt is a little longer cause at how it is, it hinders the articulation when you pose with it.

i used to put the backpack for both G04 or G05 in Bst mode upside down to make it more cool IMO

I wonder if putting the ammo drum on the other side could help? It looks like there’s a peg there, but I’m not sure if you could get the drum to fit on that side. Might help give you a little more leeway with the posing if it could.

As much as I like the G04 and G05 I wish they had just a tad more parts/color separation, especially the shield. I’ve built the G04 and have the G05 in my backlog. I was super disappointed to see the shield was literally just one big white piece with one big sticker for the detail/color 😑. Kinda the same issue I had with all the pale rider kits. Love the design, hated the amount of stickers.

The colors and some of the sculpting kinda make me think of a combination of the Grandaddy and the Astray Red Frame

basically this and its blue partner are the counterparts of the astray red and blue frame, but from the Universal century. both stories are made by the same person. Tomohiro Chiba And I find it curious that no one will notice the similarity with Units 4 and 5 with the astray Blue and Red Frame.
