For something contemporary (because 500+ books are usually found there), I'd recommend The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson. It's a really sweet and fun summer contemporary about love and friendship and growing up. I loved that book ❤️. Great list with a lot of different options 😊. Also, those pesky little paperbacks were just not cooperating haha.

I really enjoyed The Inheritance Cycle! I haven't reread it in forever, but I remember loving it. Might have to do a reread soon!

The Diviners series and Illuminae are both on my TBR. The length definitely intimidates me, but it's great to hear that you loved both and would recommend them!

Great haul! Under the Dome was really my first big book. Read it in 4 days. Diviners was also a stay up all night book for me. I loved it!

I'm reading both A Game of Thrones and Blankets for Tome Topple! I'm glad you said that Blankets is good for people starting out with graphic novels because it's a genre that's still fairly new to me!
I've been meaning to start doing monthly recommendations. I think I'll do this month's topic!

I would recommend the Abarat trilogy by Clive Barker. It's fantasy trilogy that follows a girl called Candy Quackenbush from Chicken town who gets swept away in a wave to this place called the Abarat which has 24 islands (one for every hour of the day). The story is so interesting and the characters/creatures created in these books are so fascinating. I didn't finish the 3rd book because the story just started to trail off half way though it but the story finishes at the 2nd book (the 3rd is a carry on book I think)

I am so happy that you recommend Eragon and The Host I think there is a lot of hate around those books and I really don't think they are that bad to deserve it I actually really love them! For a big book I would recommend Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell although it's a little bit polarizing so I don't know what you will think of it

I loved The Diviners. I read it in two days for Booktubeathon in 2015. I have yet to read the second book. If you like war and political intrigue related books, The Dragon's Path by Daniel Abraham is a really good book. It is the first book in an, I think, 8 book series, and it's an adult series.

I'm reading Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King. I'm really enjoying it! I do love reading big books over the winter as I live in Illinois and it gets really cold in the beginning of the year. I have The Host and Night Film. I'll have to read them next.
Thank you! Merry Christmas!

I love that people are talking about The Host again- I love it. I'm listening to Night Film for Tome Topple and am hopeful that I like it even though I'm not a horror/thriller fan. Loved these recommendations! 💜

I own all of the Song of Ice and Fire books and have been putting off reading them because of how long they are, I'll definitely try listening to the audiobooks! I loved the Under the Dome tv show, I'll definitely give the book a try! Carry on sounds super fun, I own it as well but kind of forgot about it haha I need to read it!

I ASOIAF! So good. I've heard great things about 11/22/63 and I've been meaning to give it a try, so it's great to hear you enjoyed it. I also loved Night Film! I talked about it in my Favorite Book I Read Because of BookTube video :)

I have night film and would like to start it at some point. I was not a huge fan of the inheritance cycle. I absolutely loved the first two and was really excited for the other one. However, when Brisingr came out I found out he made the book a quartet instead of a trilogy that was originally planned. Also, it took me three times to get through brisingr because it was super boring and it seemed like nothing happened? I am planning on reading the last book at some point but I am not sure when. I think I have to be in the right mind set for that.
