The kind of "corporate power" being discussed comes from government backing in many different forms, both directly and indirectly, and government does not work for the people. Until you guys can admit this, you will continue to be hamstrung in your arguments.

I can explain Alex Jones to everyone who's never listened to him right now. His world view with regards to the state is the inverse of Hanlon's Razor. Basically he does attribute malice to that which could be explained by ignorance or stupidity.

Deist hit it on the nail. We criticize the govt (and rightfully so) and our response is to privatize it. But the private sector is just as corrupt as the public sector. Just look at Facebook and other social media platforms. They are politically driven like the Govt. Having the right anthropology (realistic view of human nature) namely that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely is crucial to having a correct political philosophy.

Just like Myspace gave way to Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. Each of those 3 things will give way to 3 more things, given time, I argue. And it might decentralize even more after that. When all the peoples are on single platform like Twitter, the convo has to grow toxic, because different kind of peoples different mindsets, with the lack of physical contact and reprecussion, have no limiting dynamics about how nasty the language gets. People get harassed and they get out. And eventually will find out a platform with people frendlier to his mindset. Self segragation, just like in the dininig room table at work or school. We don't like to hang out with people we don't like. Twitter makes us do that. And making them public utilities (how do you even do that, controll it and enforce it, across the globe?), will make it only shittier.

2 strikes against Mr. Deist now in my view. First he said Hitlery would win the election and now he says peaceful parenting is of no interest. This is the very crux of so many of the problems in our society, without good parenting how can we have a good society?

No one deserves to be deplatformed more than Molyneux does. We are talking about Mr. DCMA himself who thought nothing of having a Youtube channel deleted for including unflattering clips of Molyneux's speeches.
