UA Rise 16U vs Texas Takeover 7 14 24

Last day and we're in the big venue and the boys were fired up to go home on a high note! This team is huge and athletic and their warmup was one of the best dunk contests I've seen in a while. I should have video taped that as well. We get dunked on in this game a few times. We didn't get intimidated though by it and actually came out strong and struck first. They closed the gap and it was a back and forth game until we managed to separate down the stretch and pulled out a 67-57 win. We watched the 17U get a tip in win at the buzzer and 15U killed their last opponent so it was a good day had by all. And I would say going 3-4 with only close losses...we could have easily been 5-2 had we gotten a couple of calls to go our way.
