Neva is such a step up from Gris. It manages to improve in the simple plataforming of the former, and added actual challenge. And Conrad Roset art is even better now, if you can believe that!

Ive gotten to hang out with a particular friend of mine who I hadnt gotten to connect with as much since the pandemic through these games youve reviewed, we play them together and watch eachother on screen share. NO SPOILER:

For anyone looking to get this game, know that there is a secret ending you can get by getting all of the collectables. It's very hidden as to how to see it, so you'll probably need to look it up. Don't worry about it when playing through, though, because you unlock a chapter select that can let you tidy up things you missed.

Beautiful artistic design and superb soundtrack. Got annoyed by combat near the end, and lowered difficulty so I could finish it.
I think the game would've been better, if the combat sections were fewer and far between.

I thought Gris was great, but I think a bit more traditional gameplay in this beautiful style looks like a wonderful upgrade

I loved Gris a lot and Neva looks like the next step up from Gris in just about every way. Definitely looking forward to playing it.
