Well Xbox is the competition for PlayStation. Xbox premium console is 200 dollars cheaper than PlayStation premium console. Those analyses wont talk about what is happening in japan with the Series S gaining traction. They want to blame Xbox because they cannot blame PlayStation bad decisions. It proves that the Xbox tax is real.
The average Joe that only plays COD and GTA that is on a budget is not buying any premium console and most likely lean towards the Series S because of price. Isn't that why Nintendo so successful because of price and value. Of the two major consoles the Xbox brand is bring value thru pc, Series S/X and firestick.

It's the community's fault that things are this way. People spent way too much on the PS5 when it came out and they overlooked the Series X and S which are still really solid offerings. We essentially told Sony: "Go ahead. Charge as much as you want because we're going to buy it." The other thing is current gen hardware is not the problem (which is why there won't be a mid gen refresh of the Series X and S). Last gen consoles continue to hold back this generation and the fact that people refuse to move over is stagnating improvements to visual fidelity and destroying innovation.

I was waiting for someone to say this. I actually saw one of the IGN guys say; there was no relevance for the PS5 Pro immediately after the presentation on their console watch broadcast. An hour later; he had to create a YouTube short: explaining that, the PS5 Pro would be needed for GTA 6.

I say good, I'm glad it's Xboxs fault. (It's not but we will say it is for the sake of argument.) If Sony thinks their fans are that down bad that they can't see a scam this obviously then I say good riddance to bad rubbish.

PS5 Pro's GPU has about 15% higher theoretical performance than Xbox Series X, which has about 15% higher performance than PS5. Their CPUs are basically the same. So in terms of console hardware performance Microsoft is basically competing with PS5 Pro already. They're just now slightly behind in performance for a lower price rather than being slightly ahead in performance for the same price.

Man i couldn't have moved to pc at a better time no ps5 exclusives worth a dang and a $700 MINOR boost in performance and you still pay to play online, crazy how much changes in one generation
