G2 should stop treating the LEC like scrims. They are clearly limit testing, both in terms of drafts, and in-game. The regular season is one thing, but doing it in bo3s and bo5s is arrogant. Furthermore, it's still a late game meta. Completely drafting for early to mid game without any late game/dps winning condition is idiotic. Internationally, it will be extremely difficult to beat top tier Asian teams by out-classing them mechanically and snowballing games.

The difference between the first and the latter 2 matches, is only the draft .... and that was what I feared looking at the first match. Have they got something also then for the second match? You should like have back up champs always ready ... I mean, you should not only play basing on what the opponent plays, but you got a lot of strong team formations that can succeed unless the opponents have the key elements or do the key bans to disable them, and you can revert to those when you do not know exactly what to play ... improvising a team formation just basing on what counters what does not work in general as then you may not have the internal formation comboes to make it play strong, so maybe you fare well in lanes, but then you cannot carry it through. It has been probably the biggest weakness of G2 over the last years ... amazing mindblowing formations, and then ... and like this there is no winning on the bigger stage. That Ahri on Sivir is kind of unforgivable ... you disable Caps you loose.

I dont exactly undestood the Jarvan Support pick. The champ on sup was kinda useless. I think in jungle it would fit good in yikes playstyle.

You looked like you had no idea what to do with the draft after Yasuo was banned. No back up strategy on the simplest counter - banning whatever works for you. Its good that you're confident, but you should ego-check yourselves more, because underestimating your opponent, even in combat sports or anywhere else in general if you do that - you expose yourself to been proven wrong. Miss me with your generic excuses for this poor draft and performance. Hopefully this was stumble and a also step to improve. We will see on Saturday.

HEY, EVERYTIME I've doubted G2 after the 2021 disaster, they've been surprising everyone in the long run. In 2022 I heavily doubted flakked and targamas, but then they all pulled out the fking lower bracket run of the century, they even won a game against T1 and RNG at MSI, and won their 10th LEC title. So their loss against KOI (which is actually their very first series loss on stage), ain't gonna kill the faith of the fanss

I believe in you guys, you've proven you can play top LoL, but you can't keep disrespecting teams like that...
You can't keep forcing fights with a numerical disadvantage and expect to win them all the time.
You can't keep picking fights or overextending, without vision or knowledge of where the enemy players are.
I hope this week will be enough for you to find some good picks on the new patch and adapt your draft to something that makes sense even if it's NOT meta. You're still the best, stay focused!
