Dude, you make is sound like Marxist ideas were dead by the end up the 19th century. However Marxist ideas are central in our daily lives. Vast parts of Europe have polices rooted in social democratic ideas, brought forth by social democratic parties, there are marxists views of history which are central to history education, to behavioural science, to sociology, to understanding our society. The legacy of Marx (and Engels for that) is gigantic, and thankfully it is still playing a role our daily lives.
