The majority of actors are severely underpaid and need to work multiple jobs just to get by. This strike is for them. Most actors do not live in mansions and make millions most make far less than minimum wage with the hours they put in And I think it's great that this will allow them to have a small piece of the oversized pie.

When the drivers strike on films... then there's issues. Else nothing will come of this cause all they can do is band together to protect Harvey etc. Striking for a cause needs people to be united

This is crazy. A lot of people work multiple jobs to make ends meet. What make actors so different. Most actors make more money than a small country

Well some of them are starving artists I'm sure now they have to compete with AI too and some viewers are content watching glorified animation don't care if it's a real person entertaining them? Same people don't care about musicians likely either a drum machine sounds as good as a real kit and drummer to their ear? Certainly not all actors are "movie stars" that can afford pay cuts now and then. Mannequin is as good as a live model too etc.
