Great video, plenty of good tips. I’m currently working on my first book contract....& it was doing my head wasn’t thinking about the overall design, began working page by know how to plan jobs as I was a graphic designer for years, but when it was changed from a b & w sketch each chapter to full colour (after the publisher saw my character designs) I got so overwhelmed.... the pressure I was putting on myself, was doing nothing but freaking me out! Luckily I have some good friends/fellow artists to help me get my head straight & advise me on the way they approach book illustrating. Not everyone has these contacts, so it’s types great to see videos covering these topics. It’s always great to look at other artists processes always something that can be learnt from each other... great job.

I really like the last tips for beginners artists about finding balance, Ive been drawing for almost 8 years and I still cant balance my life, its pretty difficult to deal with this sensation of urgency, and even if I know that stay locked 12 hours drawings is kinda bad, I can't stop myself from doing that because when im not drawing I get anxious, I should spend that time making something productive. Its a pretty bad feeling and im constantly fighting with myself to get over that... do you have any tips about the mindset I should have to make a more healthy artist life? I almost lost friends because they cant deal with my lifestyle.
