From FOR MY FRIENDS, a rare long out of vintage vinyl LP recording featuring Sandi Patty; Burlap Sound Inc., 1978.
Sandi Patty graduated from Anderson University in Anderson IN in 1974. Just a few years after that, in 1978, Patty recorded her first album, For My Friends, an independent effort, that landed in the hands of executives at Singspiration! They would sign her to her first recording contract in 1979!
Some 30+ albums later, Sandi Patty is now the most honored female artist in the 50 e in Gospel Music!years of The Dove Awards, the nationally known awards that celebrate the best in Christian Music!
