SMITE is an online battleground between mythical gods that is free-to-play and currently in Closed Beta.

Similar to DoTA gameplay but but instead of being above the action you are IN the action. Close third-person camera instead of RTS view. Move with WASD instead of clicking on a map. Detailed graphics and visual FX. Action combat, dodging, and AIMING. Everything is a skill-shot. Free-to-Play but not pay-to-win.

This video is a basic gameplay tutorial.

I never played with old Guan yu. But the sounds are so good! espetially his 2.

Guan Yu, the sworn brother of Liu Bei and Zhang-Fei. Legendary for the fact he was the greatest warrior of his time, some say even greater than the notorious Lu Bu. The only way they could kill him was by capturing the loved ones of his army and holding them hostage. To this day, Lu Meng is still remembered as a little bitch for having to go to such extremes to take down the mighty, brilliant Guan Yu.

dear Hi-Rez Studios plesse bring back the old Guan Yu (just ceap the new ult cause the old isnt that good) or even beter plesse do some sort of special matches in which you can play on the old maps and the old gods just so all of us beta and alpha testers can fell the nostalgia and all the new comers ho sadly couldnt experiance the good old days can also have a look at what SMITE used to be and how far it has comed plesse

in history lu bu was just a monster on the battlefield but guan yu with all his expertise was crowned the god of war after his defeat

No one can argue that the setup is almost entirely the same. Almost. The key differences here are: 1) the third-person camera, which means ambushing from behind is a more viable strategy and makes line of sight important; 2) the lack of lock-on abilities, and skill-shot driven combat. Its these sorts of small differences that create unique experiences within a genre, like comparing Call of Duty and GRO. Basic mechanic changes drastically change gameplay.
