Biden surprised by attacks by Harris at debate

A week after the first Democratic debate, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are still going back and forth on race and the issue of busing. In an interview, Biden also said he was surprised by Harris' attacks during the debate. Nikole Killion reports.

Aren't Harris and Biden arguing over whether or not he negotiated with two segregationists WHO WERE DEMOCRATS themselves. They might have failed to mention that tidbit to young voters today.
Of course he caucused with his fellow partymembers. Harris does too, she just wasn't in government back when Biden started. However she conducts herself today very much like he does. Party before nation and Party before the people. It is a Consequential Ethics argument that sometimes verges on or leads one to Machiavelli.

Both are fine when busing was aimed at a region they don't represent, however it gets murky when those ideas bounce back on Berkeley and Scranton.
