Also the fact the immune system can be suppressed by eating poor quality nutritional food, alcohol, being over weight, stress, underlying health problems. Prescription medications can also suppress the immune system! Lack of vitamin D especially in less sunnier regions in the winter cold climate hence colds and flu thrive!!!
