SOLIDWORKS 2022 What's New - Drawings

New for SOLIDWORKS 2022 are enhanced capabilities in Detailing Mode. Now you can add Hole Tables in Detailing Mode as well as standard views from the View Palette. Print to PDF is now also supported in Detailing Mode. Older Drawings can now be opened in Detailing Mode (without having to save them in a newer version). This is key because now you can open any drawing without necessarily having access to the 3D parts & assemblies they are of. There are also some new in context menus for diameter and radial dimensions as well as a brand-new dimension type for dimensioning diameters.

Also new for SOLIDWORKS 2022, is a new UI for GD&T giving you more options, better results and a streamlined workflow! There is also better support for weldment cut-lists in BOMS
