Kiara's all grown up and is going on her first hunt. While hunting she runs into another lion, she recognized him as Kovu and Kovu recognized her as well. Kiara was excited to meet Kovu after a long time, she the offered him to come back to pride rock with her. But Kovu thought it was a bad idea and refused. Kiara tried to tell him that everything will be fine and that nothing bad is gonna happen.
Later, when Kiara came back to pride rock her parents were very worried, as for her father simba was very furious as to why Kiara came back so late. She then explained to him that she ran into a friend. When Kovu appeared, Simba got angry but Kiara tried to talk him into letting Kovu stay. Simba refused to let him stay and then Nala jumped in and told Simba to stop and let him stay. Kiara and Kovu were both shocked. Kiara then apologized to Kovu for the way her father acted, of course Kovu said he was used to it and that he wasn't surprised since Simba doesn't trust him.
At priderock Nala and Simba were having an argument because of Simba's behavior. After that, Nala was upset and went to the watering hole to get a drink. Then she saw Kovu all depressed. Kovu looked back and saw Nala who was upset. He asked her what was wrong and she told him about the arguments and that she was tired of his behavior. Kovu tried to comfort Nala, then she nuzzled him. Kovu was shocked. Nala explained to Kovu that she misses him and that ever since he left things have gotten worse between her and Simba. She asked for forgiveness from the past. Kovu forgave Nala and they both nuzzled each other not realizing that Simba was there. To be continued...
