In design school, we learned about retail store concepts. One retailer may be narrow and deep, which refers to a store that carries a lot of the same thing in different iterations and combinations like @bananarepublic The other may be shallow and broad, which means the store carries a huge variety of items, like @target

I always found this concept hysterical when I thought about peoples personalities. I am definitely narrow and deep. I know a lot about fashion, and very little about football. Supposedly it's football season, so go Lions?

Love the play on the word “fashion.” Btw, that commentary was from the Iron Bowl several years ago. There was only one minute left on the clock and Auburn was up again their historic rival, Alabama (aka the Goliath of football). Auburn ran the football back the entire length of the field to win the game in the last seconds.
