Fun fact - Google killed the "View Image" button to appease Getty Images who were suing them for "facilitating" image theft. Getty are also the main plaintiff for one of the higher profile copyright actions against the AI image generators, so in a sense the loss of that button is (very indirectly) related to AI image generation

It's like looking into Android 5 years ago, but to keep things fair Android vendors keep version of Android from 5 years ago and don't update it, they really care about fair competition
