These things can happen in any country. Blaming a country and its national carrier cause your connecting flight got cancelled is quite unproffesional. Imagine you being behind those counters where certain indian fellas are heralding abuse? how would you manage it?

In Australia we stuck for 5hrs due to a flight cancellation. They only gave us a discount food voucher. lol… Do you think people will ever react like this in those countries?? If so they can be jailed including this woman!! 😂

Without telling full story, don't blame anyone, Sri Lankans are no.1 in hospitality. Our service is far superior compared to other nations in the region, our people are humble then this average Indians, so don't try to blame by using small incident, if you don't want to fly in srilankan you can choose any other airline but doing propaganda against is not acceptable.

Kudos to Sri Lankan airlines ground handling staff. As you rightly subtitled that A hole seems so entitled and not allowing staff to do their job. He can take some other airline if he could. I don’t believe he has other option but Sri Lankan. I also agree you could have slightly changed the title and won some genuine Sri Lankan hearts. Sri Lankan airlines staff provides you with the best hospitality, despite the challenges, if not for the poor management of Sri Lankan airlines by political henchmen, it would be the best in Asia.

My God may be your experience in travelling is far less. This is common in many airlines. Some big Airlines cancel the trip and to recover that money you only need travel insurance.
Indians who are shouting think they are superior or what. Have they even travelled with any other airlines at all. A flight being delayed and from that you judge an entire country and its people. Please keep your judgement to yourself.
People with less travel experience post these sorts of unprofessional content.

If you made the payment to SL airlines through a credit card or another card, please dispute it and get the full amount. I disputed my entire amount of $953 paid to Sri Lankan airlines on American Express and got a full refund.

Sometimes passangers also behave like imbeciles, if the airline had a way to pack these screaming people they would . It s not like Sri Lanka wants these people here. While passangers have a right to expect a best service these delays occur to unavoidable circumstances. This can happen anywhere anytime and it is usually the ground staff who have to face these abuses by some unruly passangers. And lady you got a luxury room on the expenditure of the airline.

air port needs a new world class terminal! current one is donkey years old and out dated! rename is as Colombo international airport, remove any politician name!
