Launch a first EC2 instance as follows:
1. Sign up for an AWS account if you haven't already done so.
2. Go to the AWS Management Console and select the EC2 service.
3. Select the region where you want to launch your instance.
4. Click on the "Launch Instance" button.
5. Choose an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) that suits your needs.
6. Choose an instance type based on your computing needs.
7. Configure instance details, such as network settings and storage volumes.
8. Add tags to your instance for better organization.
9. Configure security groups to control access to your instance.
10. Review and launch your instance.
