A comprehensive 1 hour session of radiology was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) under GAPIO Radiology International Lecture Series on “Imaging in Sports Injuries” on Saturday, 8th March 2025 at 7:00 PM IST on zoom platform.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Esha Agarwal, Consultant Radiologist in Manipal Hospitals, Pune has delivered her talk on “Imaging in Upper Extremity Injuries” and Dr. Gaurav Vashisht, Consultant Radiologist, Arthocenter, Jyoti Hospital, Gurugram has delivered his talk on "Imaging in Lower Extremity Injuries”.
Dr Anju Aggarwal, General Practitioner, Sydney, Australia, EC Member, GAPIO gave the opening remarks.
Topic of the session was introduced by the chairperson of the session, Dr Raju Vaishya, Senior Consultant Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon, Adjunct Professor, Clinical Tutor, and Research Advisor, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India and President, Arthritis Care Foundation.
Dr. Vinita Sharan, Senior Radiology Consultant, DeepTek Medical Services, Pvt. Ltd., Adjunct Faculty, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Advisor Radiology CMEs, GAPIO, Former Associate Professor, San Beda College of Medicine, Philippines and Public Health Consultant has moderated the session and gave vote of thanks.
The session followed by 10 minutes question and answer session.
