Teba (Janice de Belen) dismisses young Ian's (Enzo Pelojero) wish to become a soldier, thinking that it is merely a kid's dream. When her son grows up, Teba starts to worry about his dedication to engage in the dangerous profession. Despite her motherly concerns, Teba allows Ian (Joshua Garcia) to pursue his dream. However, she soon finds out that her son sustained a horrible wound while trying to win the war against rebel forces in the Zamboanga siege. As Ian succumbs to his injuries, Teba experiences the jolting pain of having to bury her beloved son.

This episode made my whole family cry for days, we felt Janice’s pain and sorrow upon losing his precious son. We lose our precious kuya because of an “engkwentro” or a legitimate police operation and we made it to the hospital, seeing him in a morgue. Cold and dead. And seeing this episode brings back the pain and sorrow we felt back then. Cant help but cry. A very good portrayal of every deceased soldier’s family.
