Easter Island, Chile, Argentina, and Brasil, Beautiful Lands

Travels through South America. These photographs were taken during mine and Robert Young's travels to Easter Island, a Chilian possession, located in the Pacific Ocean, then Argentina and finally Brazil. We wanted to show the beauty of the landscapes in each of these countries. As you can see there was little or no haze or pollution in the air. This can be attributed to the remoteness and lack of industrialization in these areas. Patagonia divided by Chili and Argentina is a vast wonderland of scenic beauty. Sparely populated, it retains its pristine condition. The exception are the melting glaciers; the remains of which can be see in large lakes and water runoff visible in several of the photographs. Global warming is causing the melting. Please Note: Many of the photographs were taken by Robert Young, a fantastic photographer and without whom this slide show could not be possible.
