MTV banned this video because they considered it too "violent" meanwhile at the time those "rappers" 'videos where the same theme was portrayed were Ok... Anyway, thank U ladies!!

You must react to the BMW commercial that Madonna did around this time. Also directed by her then husband.She is great in it and as we would say in the UK, she completely takes the pi** out of herself. British humour was definitely rubbing off on her at this point in her life…..Much love! 🇬🇧➡️🇺🇸

Was directed by her husband at the time Guy Ritchie who specialised in Male dominated often brilliant but violent British Gangster movies, was interesting to put a female spin on it. As usual for her the video is loaded with meaning

You got the message perfectly, nail on the head! Everything a guy can do, a woman can also do or better. This was directed by her then husband Guy Ritchie, who also did a commercial/short film/video for BMW around that time with Madonna in a leading role. It's called STAR, a must watch! ;-)

Before you finish the 'Music' era, there's another track of the album called Paradise (Not for me), Madonna performed the song in the Drowned world tour and shot a backdrop video for it, it's such a forgotten gem, deep and haunting, immersed in japanese culture, hopefully you ladies react to it, I promise you'll love it.
I interpret the video as a death ceremony, as some fans have said before, but I'd love to hear your interpretation :) 💙

You’re coming up on her next album American Life. You’ll have to watch the uncensored director’s cut version of that video. It’s kind of intense but great commentary on our obsession with war. Also, Die Another Day. That’s one of my fav videos by her! It’s from that album and also soundtrack to a 007 movie. It’s another action movie video. You’ll love it.
