Today, you’re going to learn how I hit serves at 110+ MPH without getting off the ground. Many players miss the mark when it comes to understanding the role of legs and hips in generating force during a serve. Jumping is just a part of the equation.

So let's break down three crucial elements to the leg drive that not only help you generate power but also enable you to effectively transfer that force into your racquet for that satisfying, whip-like pop.

I spent years trying to muscle serves with little result. It finally clicked when I read about the "archer's bow" position. You've filled in the technical details about achieving that position. Your audience is going to boost velocity and spin AND save their shoulders. Great job!

Congrats on 100K subs, guys!

Would you guys ever consider playing a set/match against each-other?

I know this is a technique based channel,
but it would be interesting to see you guys play with commentary
implement your tips with strategy on court!

Always look forward to your videos!
Keep up the good work!

I have always been confused about how to initiate the backswing with the leg drive, so for me the tip about feeling it in the hip could be a game changer. I went out to the courts and tried it out and saw great immediate results. Now fingers crossed that I can implement it in a game situation!

You guys are so awesome. Keep up the great videos. I played for USC and some pro tennis in Europe a long long time ago. I just retired and am looking forward to getting back into tennis. ❤❤

Another amazing video guys! thank you so much for this valuable content. I do see a lot of people jumping before the serve for the sake of jumping because they saw the pros do it, which adds complexity and wrong timing.

Was expecting him to fall on some sort of landing pad at 12:47. Still, really enjoying all the silliness.
