Beautiful sunny day, lovely green UK countryside and an amazing bike. What's not to love !

I know they're probably too much for the roads these days but i'm really sad to watch the demise of 1000cc superbikes(not that i'd ever be able to afford one new). I'm just happy there'll be a steady supply of used examples but I do worry for the used prices if they don't eventually make a return. Pretty much every day I regret selling my RSV4 RF.

I've been using a 23 R1 since Feb 24, just touched 6000 miles, put heli bar riser on, ride all day no worries, its just Fun, I know it makes no sense on the road, but whi cares, it's hilarious.

Wouldn't sell mine for anything. Unique and superb piece of engineering.

I rode one for the first time on Monday and was fortunate enough for that experience to take place on a track. The sound and torque were amazing!

I think that laugh at the beginning sums the video

Love the R1, it's a monster! That being said, because I'm a two stroke guy I'd choose an R6 for it's high r.p.m power band. Rode all kinds of bikes, never could get used to the low end, mid range torque of the big inline four strokes. It's just what I'm accustomed to, keeping the revs above 6, 000.

Our roads arent suited too many pot holes/gravel etc, you need a track and then smile with joy 😊

I'm looking at buying one. Install some bar risers and just use it occasionally. Pointless for the road I know. But it's better looking than the MT10..

Can see them holding value well.

Superb review! That laughter of yours whenever you open the tabs! All the money! 😂

What a noise that CP4 makes. Probably one of the only bikes (R1, MT-10) I’d buy just for the engine.

Yeah...the R1 is all business, watching this I miss my old 2004 20valve R1 😢 used to be so comfy on the highway, but a real bastard in traffic (palms, arms and back 😢)

I had a test ride of one of these many years ago. Was terrifying when trying to rev it out. Gorgeous engineering but appropriate for the track not road imo. Rode a honda blackbird when they came out and that too was terrifying when trying to meet max revs in 3rd. I remember thinking my brain can’t keep up. The TT guys ride them flat out in 6th😮

i had one of the first original ones loved it & again in 2016 for a sports bike i thought they are comfy, its a sham there going to be discontinued. if i was looking for a new bike, one of these or bmw came across my path i would have to have both. your laugh all the way though thumbs up. in years to come ..

Bonkers for us Tracer 9 GT riders!
But looking forward to seeing the rumoured R9 to replace it as the main road bike.

Such a long, strong pull in 1st, it’s insane. Up to 160kmh! Mind blowing … 🎉
